We are the Brothers of Colgate University: a leading liberal arts institution located in central New York. Mission Statement
Brothers is a non-greek, fraternal organization dedicated to the intellectual discussion of political, social, and campus issues that pertain to low income males and men of color. With issues of diversity, social marginalization, and multiculturalism as its roof, Brothers has as its pillars: Brotherhood, Academic (including Career Planning), Campus Leadership and Community Service as its pillars. Brothers seeks to educate and promote awareness about current African American, Latin American, African, Middle Eastern, Asian and Caribbean male social issues both domestically and abroad. Since Brothers was founded at Colgate University, our efforts are targeted are primarily focused on the Madison County area of central New York.

Our goal is to create awareness about relevant issues and discuss them in a manner that promotes brotherhood within our community. The ongoing goals for our group and its members are to promote:

Membership
Membership is open to all male students of Colgate who are willing to contribute to the education of the Colgate community about the issues men of color face on college campuses. Membership is also available to alumni and former/current faculty members of Colgate that are willing to guide the organization by offering means of advice and networking connections. There are no dues to join organization.
